Currently, the large-density coarse granules (bed stones), composed of ore particles of varying sizes, are settling at varied rates. Large-density and small-particle-size mineral particles are inhaled when the water flow decreases, passing through the bed gap and into the lower layer.

Procedure for a gold chute

The gold chute selection method is an ancient and widely used gravity separation technique. The chute is a narrow, 3 to 4-degree incline (maximum of 14 to 16 degrees) made of steel or wood. It is possible to make gold locally.

The sorting process is as follows: when the slurry is fed into the chute from the trough, the ore particles of various densities gradually stratify due to the combined action of the water flow force and the ore's gravity (or centrifugal force). Lastly, stratification of the ore particles at varying densities is caused by particle friction between the ore and the trough bottom. Concentrate becomes the concentrate at the bottom of the tank due to separation and high density.

Amalgamation method

This method of extracting gold from ore is appropriate for treating oxidized ores that contain coarse gold and primary quartz vein deposits. One well-known and traditional technique for extracting gold from ore is amalgamation. It has been demonstrated that using the amalgamation method in conjunction with other ore extraction techniques can recover a portion of the gold grains beforehand and minimize the loss of coarse gold grains in tailings.

Flotation method

Flotation is one of the most commonly used techniques for treating lode gold ore. Flotation is often an exemplary method for selecting highly reversible sulfide mineral gold-bearing ores. The cost of dressing is minimal because flotation can separate waste tailings and maximize the concentration of gold in sulfide mineral concentrates.

The flotation method is an efficient way to identify and select different gold-bearing sulphide concentrates for ores such as gold-copper, gold-lead, gold-bismuth, and gold-copper-lead-zinc-sulphur, which is beneficial to the complete recovery of mineral resources.
